I've been bland and busy -- all at the same time. Remarkable, eh? Been busy trying to wrap up Heartsy orders I received through Etsy and other orders I've received outside of my Etsy shop.

Hope you all had a fantastic holiday weekend! I sure did. Though I must admit that I'm not a fan of this rainy cooler weather that has shown up.

With that in mind, I think I'll be rocking my new Bear Bryant houndstooth fedora. Must wear on game day.

The cleanness and simplicity of these prints are awesome enough as they are, but the meaning behind the words strike me. As someone who has, on many occasions, questioned what I should be doing, where in life I should be and what part of the world I should live in, these two prints speak volumes to me. And they just make me happy. So I must have what makes me happy, right? Maybe I should add letterhappy prints to my birthday list?

New Year - New Goals

Happy New Year everyone! Hope the year is going well for all of you and that you are living the life you want!

I know a lot of us are trying to get in shape for the new year, and after eating all of that holiday food, it's proving to be quite the challenge for some of us. (Ahem.) So I'm trying to inspire myself to get off the couch and get out into the streets for a little running action. If only there wasn't so much snow.

I'd like to complete a few races this year, even if I just run/walk or walk them. I have terrible knees and hips from the cross-country running I did in high school...so running long distances always proves painful for me. In addition to doing some extra training and strength building, I'm going to push myself to finish a few races this year just so I can add more and more charms to a necklace that I started last year.
