I've been bland and busy -- all at the same time. Remarkable, eh? Been busy trying to wrap up Heartsy orders I received through Etsy and other orders I've received outside of my Etsy shop.

My coworkers surprised me this morning with a breakfast buffet bagel spread for my birthday. Bagels and cream cheese all around!

Hope you all had a fantastic holiday weekend! I sure did. Though I must admit that I'm not a fan of this rainy cooler weather that has shown up.

With that in mind, I think I'll be rocking my new Bear Bryant houndstooth fedora. Must wear on game day.

Just a quick little update:

And speaking of holiday shopping, the holidays will be here before you know it! Each year, I tell myself that I will be proactive and shop throughout the year, and each year I'm freaking out a week before Christmas because I've done nothing. Not this year! No siree! I will not procrastinate this year!

Etsy Shops Highlight of the Week

Now that it's September, my mind automatically shifts to an autumn mindset. With that, for some reason, comes a desire to nest like it's my J.O.B. No, I'm not with child. But I'm completely in the mood for a decor overhaul. Lunch breaks will be spent at Bed Bath & Beyond, HomeGoods and maaaaaybe Anthropologie.
